Location:
Purpose: To sell new and used construction and forestry equipment to new and existing customers.Responsibilities: Represents the company for the sale of machinery to customers in a defined sales area. Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment, maintains all customer information in assigned sales territory and follows sales process of dealership. Stays current on financing options to assist customers in their purchase. Monitors competitive activity and products, and communicates to sale management. Atttends applicable sales training events and seminars.Education, experience and skills: High School Diploma or equivalent. Must have at least one year equipment sales experience, knowledge of construction or forestry equipment preferred. Ability to use standard applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions. Ability to work flexible hours. Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
Manages Parts operations within dealership to maximize return on investment by optimizing Parts Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction, growing parts sales, exercising disciplined expense control and attracting and retaining outstanding talent.Creates annual goals and budget in alignment with financial and operational objectives, conducts annual physical inventory of all parts and related inventories, submits parts warranty and return claims within required timeframe to receive maximum credit and maintains all department tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working order.Must have minimum of 3 years experience in Parts Deparmtent operations, ability to use standard desktop applications and internet functions and have ability to speak effectively one on one and within a group.
